My page for my first ever swap!

Hey again,

Ok so here's another post today! As if ye didnt have enough photos to look at with that on the boardwalk mini!!!

I mentioned before that I joined my first ever swap over on the scrap beach, as hosted ny the lovely Daphna!

These were the rules of the swap:

The requirements are:
Size and Shape :  4" x 4" Square
Material : medium weight chipboard base. You can recycle
Color scheme: Cream, White, Chocolate Brown, and Yellow
Cover and decorate both sides of the chipboard
Incorporate at least 1 pocket and a tag for journaling
Incorporate at least 2 embellishments (flowers, pearls, lace, charms, etc.)
Include your name on a tag, so people know who's mini album page it is
Leave a 1/2" space on the left side for binding (I will punch the holes and add the binding)

It was so much fun being involved in this swap & Daphna is such a nice person-Daphna if you're looking at these, I hope you like thwm, I'll be posting them on Tuesday when the post office is open!

 Fronts of the pages
I used chocolate brown core'dinations cardstock to cover the front of the page which is sand-able so I sanded it, sure why not?? :) The pocket is made from cream cardstock & has the flower & some bling on it.
For the clock theme I stamped the flowers using a Tim Holtz clock stamp I have
On my tag I used yellow & brown ribbons, a Tim Holtz mini Pin & a tiny Gold wing charm
The front of the tag is yellow cardstock stamped with a Tim Holtz stamp & has room for a picture
The back has basic greys basics paper on it for journalling
This clock is done with the same clock stamp, but I used yellow embossing powder-it was my first time to try embossing!!!
These are the back of the pages-covered in cream card & I used a Tim Holtz clock mask before inking the page with walnut ink
I left room for a photo on this page
I just added a Soar adage ticket for the flies theme, a bling brad & a yellow bow!
Up in the left hand corner then, attached with a Tim Holtz paper clip is a little mulberry envelope with my details inside on a little card, I hope whoever receives my page like it! It was fun to do-thanks again to Daphna for her kind words & encouragement throughout this swap,
Aideen X
