Passion for Promarkers challenge entry!

Hello again,

I have recently got into stamping and colouring! So I decided to enter the Passion for Promarkers 2 year anniversary challenge, its a super challenge....

I used some of the TGF stamped images I got from the lovely Emily! The theme for the challenge is all the 2s so I used-2 stamped images, 2 different design papers, 2 flowers which I coloured with promarkers and 2 prima bling centres.....
I onlly just started colouring with promarkers so I'm still learning :)

These flowers were white so it's great to colour them with the promarkers to match them up!

Lots and lots of lovely goodies....

Hello again,
I have lots of lovely goodies that I received over the past 2 weeks that I just wanted to share...
First of all, I got this beautiful card from Niamh who won my last blog candy-the fairy image is from her goodies as is the sentiment! The lace, rose and pearls are so pretty-so thank you Niamh...
This card is from Nishi Harry my friend over on the scrapbeach with whom I did a RAK swap with....
And here is the MOUNTAIN of goodies that Nishi sent me!! Theres flowers, ribbons, lace, trim. bling, pearls, stickers, papers, a little chipboard book..... The package was just bursting with goodies-I'm still discovering lovely things in each bag-so thanks a million Nishi, hope your goodies have arrived safely to south Africa :) x
This is a little seam binding haul I did-my friend Ger used some on the altered frame she made me and I just love it so I HAD to get some :)
This is my PRIZE from the amazing Dianne who picked my card for the chocolate challenge I posted about last week! I won a beautiful set of papers, some blank kraft cards and envelopes, an embossing folder (Which I had to try out straight away on MY NEW BIG SHOT!!!) See the sample I made on the left in this pic! Also Dianne made me the lovely card you can see in the front of the pic with the decoupaged watering can full of flowers..... I also won a bar of chocolate....but......erm.....lets just say it didn't last long enough to be photographed....... :) Thanks so much again Dianne, I'm delighted to have won all these FAB goodies.....
On my altered frame swap post I had wondered if Maggie had made the lacey zip on the gorgeous frame she made for me and she very kindly sent me some of my own to play with along with too cool zipper flowers she made, thanks Maggie :) x ...
So, I recently bought the big shot along with some dies so myself and Ger did a die cut swap-not that I have too many yet but check out these beautiful cuts I got from Ger-theres a great variety here and I'll be using them in upcoming projects :) thank a million Ger, you know I love these, xxx
AND my dad was recently over in New York where he got me these goodies in Michaels! As you can see theres a frame, wooden pieces, a funky alpha set, pearls, mosaics, stickers and gorgeous charms :) How good is he?

And how lucky am I with all these goodies and amazing crafty friends, thank you all so much,
You all know how much I love and appreciate everything I receive,

ATCs I received for the March and April swaps!

So, you may remember the green ATCs that I made for the March green/Irish themed ATC swap over on cardznscrapz, well these are the 3 lovely ATCs I got back from that swap....
This beauty was made by the lovely Niamh and is both green and a bit Irish, I love the angel girl, flowers, harp and trims....
This next lovely card is by the lovely Maggie and again combines the 2 themes beautifully! Love how she made the 4 leaf clover by cleverly bending back a petal of a flower brad-what a great idea!!! I love all the textures on this one....
And then, theres this oh so cute green themed ATC by the lovely Geraldine, I just adore this lil embroidered froggy-how cute is he!!! The flowers and papers just tie in perfectly....

So, thank you ladies for these gorgeous lil ATCs-I love them!!! :) x

And THEN...

I have my ATCs that I received for April-you might remember me posting the fairy ones I made!
Well, these are the 3 I received-I just love receiving these in the mail and seeing how different each person makes them and they are all just lovely little pieces of art...
There was also a theme choice to make monochromatic ATCs which is what Diane did here-love these flowers and the pearls-they really stand out against the black background....
This lil fairy is by Mary O'Leary and she is actually decoupage-you might not be able to tell from the pic! She is just so sweet and I love the crochet, blings and the little corner details....
And this little fairy is by Niamh using the fairy stamps she won from my blog candy!!! Yay :) LOVE her colouring here and also there is glitter on parts of her wings but again you mat not be able to see that in the pic! The little baby roses in the corner are so pretty too....

Again, thanks to these lovely ladies! And thanks for stopping by...

My first 12x12 layout using Basic Greys Curio papers

So, I recently went to my first crop/class  and made my first layout-this is where we went as far as in the class-
AnnaMarie showed us how to make these box flowers using the design paper...
Folded back corners using brads from the collection and faux stitching...
This is what I brought home...
I then made a second smaller flowers and titled the layout "A perfect memory" using stickers I had from the collection...
I added a quote "Today I marry my friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, love...."
I added a few more stickers and the photos are of my Uncle and Aunts wedding 40 years ago-I printed them in sepia to match the papers...
I then bought this 12x12 layout frame and painted it a light cream colour...
I gave this to Seamus and Tessie for their anniversary present! Happy anniversary again :) x

I'm going to enter my finished piece for the by the cute and girly May challenge which is "Anything goes" CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS

My winning chocolate card! :)

So , the craft challenge for the month of April over on Cardznscrapz was hosted by the lovely Dianne and the challenge was a chocolate challenge! There were lots of FAB entries but I won-can't believe it! Thanks so much again Dianne :) x
So, here is my card which I made for my uncle Seamus and his wife Tessie for their 40th wedding anniversary-they had a party on Sunday and what a great day it was! In this pic you can see my dark chocolate ribbon and a Tim Holtz "LOVE" adage ticket...
For the photo I even printed it in sepia for the chocolate tones-it is a copy of one of their original wedding photos which I attached to some basic grey dark choc paper backing and white choc faux stitching....
Milk and white choc primas complete the look!

Thanks for stopping by-all questions and comments are very welcome,
