My crafting desk

Hey guys,

I hope you are liking my new look blog and what's so cool is that I got my 1,000th lovely comment on my last post!!! I love reading the comments and am delighted to have 1,000 :)

So today I am sharing my craft desk-my desk is actually a large piece of lovely walnut kitchen counter that was left over when my parents did up their kitchen-my hubby is a carpenter so he had put together their kitchen and dad gave him the left over piece.

It's really nice and in my house all of our doors and wood floors are walnut so it matches perfectly. The desk as we now call it :) is about 7 foot long so you can see in the pic it can fit plenty of my crafty bits and bobs!! I also keep some makes I have received on the desk as inspiration but I also have shelves above the desk (not in pic) where I display more of the lovely things I have gotten in swaps.

I keep all my smash* books and notebooks and most used goodies on the desk for easy usage-like you can see my WASHI tape holder, little jars of embellies etc

My storage area then is a wardrobe in the room-the room is actually meant as a bedroom but with two kids and myself we took it over as a playroom/craftroom.

If you would like to see more of my crafty space or a video maybe when I finish tidying the storage section-I NEED a trip to ikea :) let me know in the comments,

Aideen x
