Our shabby chic mini!

Hello all :)

So, to start off my blog post first I must mention I am still looking for two people to join my pay it forward group-please click HERE for details.

Also my friend Geraldine is having a giveaway on her blog, you have to check it out for some great goodies-click HERE, she has an amazing etsy too so check it out!!

AND.... I see I have reached just over 75 followers-so next week I will be posting a giveaway :) so watch this space....

Last week, I posted my pages I made for a shabby chic mini swap I hosted over on cardznscrapz.com and yesterday I posted everyone their completed books & they were all so FAB! I was so happy that all the lovely ladies took the chance and joined my swap. I also really appreciate all their time & hardwork that they put into their pages & I am sure you will agree the result is really AMAZING, so thank you all & here is our completed mini.....

These are the wonderful hostess gifts I received such pretty things-I am still admiring them all, thank you ladies!

The front page I made for everyone & my post last week gives all the details on that!

I bound the books using a large 2" bookring and added lace, ribbon, fibres & this beautiful bead dangle which Timi from our group made and I attached with a Tim Holtz jump ring!

This is the front of the next page and this is by my friend Maggie and has great stitching & gold leafing and as you can see attached to her tag is a lovely dangle!
This is the back of Maggies page then with a great mini double pocket with the who?.... & what?.... tags in it which have details about the swap! Also on the right is a frame with an acetate window that you can slide a lil picture into! This was Maggies first swap like this & the details and all are amazing! Thanks Maggie :) x
This page is by Timi And the front here has a great pull out and a tag with Timis details on it! the cutout pocket & flowers work really well with our shabby chic look.
This is the back of  Timis page and its a great journalling spot! I love the little butterfly punches and the flowers with the pearl swirl peeping out! Thanks Timi and for the lovely dangle bead too :) x
This is the front of my sister Aghna and this was her first crafty make! She was allowed to raid her sisters stash of course & I helped her just with the basics! This page has crochet lace, pearl string, a mulberry flower and a pearl heart centre!
This is the back of Aghnas page with her pullout which is core'dinations that we sanded and a little corner pocket with some prima flowers and bling centres! Thanks Aghna (My lil Aggie Sue ;)x)
This beautiful page is made by Eve and on the front here you can see the lovely corset detail, the peek-a-boo lace insert, the little velcro closure with metal flower & this when opened allows you to lift the flap up and theres lovely spotted paper and lace underneath!

This is the back of Eves page & I think we will all be saving bottlecaps from now on!!! What a cute way to use them up :) and recycle of course!!! Also Eve made a lovely stick pin and pullout tag with lace. Thanks so much Eve, x
This page then is by Geraldine and the little butterfly and photo corner are from her etsy shop HERE which I really recommend you to take a look at! You can also see some crochet lace, rik rak ribbon, A crochet tab and I love these little wooden button.
The back of her page then you can see the back of her crochet tab and another of those cute buttons! Theres a double pocket with pullouts and crochet & beaded ribbon, the little fairy/angel gal then is one of Gers little snippets! Thanks Geraldine :) x

So, that's it for this week! Next week I will be putting up another giveaway-in fact I'm going to go and buy goodies for it now!

Thanks for visiting,
Aideen X
