You may remember I tried out for the Graphic 45 DT two years ago HERE-my try out was unsuccessful but looking back on it I was not ready but I am now. I have learned so many things since my first application and I think it will show in my projects which I have made especially for this time around.
So without further ado...here are my projects:
My first project I made for this special post is the satchel mini album for my sons school photos and also his report cards etc
I made the satchel from ink stained grunge paper and Tim Holtz metal hardware
The satchel opens up into an album of school photos and I have used Graphic 45s ABC primer papers as backgrounds and also to display my sons age at the time of each photograph.
Project number 2 is a large project measuring almost 20 inches by 20 inches! But its a cutie.... I used the 8x8 and 6x6 Mother Goose papers. I just love creating things and watching peoples reaction to them when they see them for the first time.
I got these MDF puzzle piece frames from cardznscrapz.com and painted them up to match the Graphic 45 Mother Goose collection. I then papered them and added matching embellishments from my stash. In the centre of each frame I added a little booklet with a nursery rhyme in each-here is my son reading the nursery rhymes to my daughter.
In the centre of the puzzle attached by magnets is a re-moveable Graphic 45 mini matchbox with one of the beautiful Graphic 45 metal drawer pulls.
Inside the little matchbox is the "Mary had a little lamb" nursery rhyme and my first ever needle felt project a little lamb-perfect for this project.
Next up is a card I made using Graphic 45s A Ladies Diary-these were fun images to fussy cut...
Graphic 45 papers are all you need on projects-everything on this card is cut from the papers even the lace borders! The only thing I added was the little metal keyhole embellishment..just because...
A close up of some of the fussy cutting-I have the cut pieces up on pop dots for extra dimension.
The next project I created for this application is a special one to me-I recently photographed vintage family photographs that I gathered from my relatives as I want to document our family history. For these two layouts I used the Graphic 45/Echo park Transatlantique collection-it was made for my family...
This side of the layout is photographs of my dads parents-my dads family spent some of their lives living in America where I still have lots of relations.
And this layout is why this collection was perfect for these layouts-it is about their boat trip over to the States.
This is one of my favourite makes and even though it is Christmas themed using the Nutcracker Sweet paper line I must confess I keep it up all year because I just love it...shhh....
These papers were one of my firm favourites by Graphic 45 for sure-maybe because I love nutcrackers..
Isn't he just so cute??
Last Halloween I did a crafty swap with my bestie Emily who is also applying to be on this team! So for my make for her I had to use the Steampunk Spells collection.
It is a mixed media Tim Holtz configurations book using the Steampunk Spells papers and loads of embellishments including some Graphic 45 metals.
The inside contained a mini album and some Halloween goodies with room for Emily to add her own touches.
Then this happened.... and it was so amazing!!!
So those are my main 6 projects but here are some others just to browse.... sure why not?
Altered Graphic 45 Art Box and mini I made as a gift.
Inside there was a mini-papers used were Little Darlings collection.
Altered configurations hanging house using the Couture collection (CardznScrapz DT project).
Couture mini album (CardznScrapz DT project).
A special commissioned Nutcracker Sweet piece....
The Tim Holtz lanterns add a lovely touch to these pieces!
Another altered art box by Graphic 45 this time using the Olde Curiousity Shoppe papers.
So there you have it guys-if you have made it this far down this post thank you so much for reading my application.... I am excited to even get this chance to try out!
Thanks to everyone at Graphic 45 for this opportunity & I wait with my fingers crossed,
Aideen x
