My Basic Grey card for SFYTT :) x

This is my first time entering this challenge over on SFYTT HERE and I am also entering it into the basic grey challenge here HERE as I used Basic Grey Kioshi papers...

 I am going to make it into a little wall hanging! The stamp is a Kraftin Kimmie stamp...

I lightly distressed all the paper edges..

A card for a few challenges! :)

Heres a card I made for a few challenges:

I wanted to make something for the TGF FFF "Button up" challenge HERE and the Lily pad sketch challenge HERE which is sponsered by the TGF and also the Basic grey challenge HERE so here it is!!

 I embossed my card first with seeing spots folder then used Basic Greys Hopscotch papers and this Gal is of course TGF and the buttons from my stash...

 I made the little sentiment banner with scraps...

Heart journalling week 5: paper piecing

Here are my pages for week 5 and the theme for this week was paper piecing:

WEEK 5 - Pieces of Me (layers & paper piecing)

Assignment: Create a spread or a page using layering and paper piecing techniques. Use any stamps you want, colors, etc. Not necessary to use any TGF stamps, this is YOUR journal, do what you want cuz you rule that journal!

So I paper pieced my Anyas:

 Here is my 2 page spread-I painted the backround and used matching paints to my papers (Bo Bunny Gabrielle) to stamp the hearts which are also by TGF....

 These Anyas are all from the hats off Miss Anys set so I called my pages "Hats off to Fashion" because these gals are fashionable....

Here are my 3 ATCs using dovecrafts tea for two papers and chip pieces and papermania outline cupcake stickers and stamp...

 These are by the lovely Ger love the row of little cupcakes along the ribbon....

 These great cupcakes on a cool embossed acrylic background are by Wendy....

And these cute sprinkle cupcakes are by Maggie....

Card for TGFs MM and The Shabby Tea Rom challenge!

Heres my card for the TGF MM CASE-ing Rimna challenge HERE And for my card I used papers inspired by the shabby tea room challenge HERE

Rimnas card was just gorgeous and so much fun to CASE:

 Heres my card using Basic greys Hopscotch papers and a Miss Anya from the Miss Anya collection by TGF...

I stamped around Miss Anya with a splat stamp by Tim Holtz, my Polka dot tape is by K & Co for the Smash books with added staples, 2 prima flowers with brown pearl centres....

 I used my Tim Holtz paper distresser on all the edges & The sentiment is a papermania stamp...

 The polka dot paper tucked in behind Miss Anya was used as it reminded me of the photo inspiration over on the shabby tea room challenge....

And thats it!

week 4 TGF Heart Journal pages and FFF too cool for school challenge!

Hey everyone!
Here are my pages for week 4:

WEEK 4 - The Girl in Me

Assignment: Create a spread or a page using the concept of hand-drawn girls. I want you to actually draw a character in your book!!! It can be sketchy, cartoony, realistic, or even stick figures.  Not necessary to use any TGF stamps, this is YOUR journal, do what you want cuz you rule that journal!

 Here is my 2 page spread :) I used prisma pencils that I got from Emily :) and some markers to draw my girl-shes not great but this is my first time doing a picture like this...

 This is a close up of my gal :) my friend Maggie does the most AWESOME journalling pages of girls HERE and I looked thru her blog before I did this-I was not brave enough to do a detailed background like Maggies-I was just trying to get my girl to look ok... Maggies pages are just beautiful and her backgrounds are so cool-maybe for my next weeks assignment I will be less scared to go further with it...

We don't have to use TGF stamps on our pages but I am going to try and use one on every page just for fun so here she is Miss Anya....


Then last weeks FFF challenge HERE  was the theme 2 cool 4 school so I made a real simple photo holder...

 I used it for my sons class photo from the end of last year...

I colored Edward up to have a matching uniform with promarkers...

I have been published in crafting Ireland again!!!

A card I entered into the craft challenge for Issue 3 of crafting Ireland CHECK IT OUT HERE!!!! Was published-it was for the green, blue & yellow colour challenge....

Yes I used cuddle Anya from TGF again but I can't help it-I love her :) and she is so much fun to paper piece...

 The papers used are Primas sweet fairy and the stamp was one I got free with a craft magazine (DoCrafts Creativity) and the Kraft I embossed with my seeing spots cuttlebug embossing folder....

I used green, yellow and blue twine...

 My fiskers border punch was used on the yellow paper in the centre of the card....

And all papers were inked with my tea dye ink :) and that's it!!

12x12 Bo Bunny Gabrielle Layout & frame (Little Snippets!!!)

Here is a layout I created for my sister in law Sarah and her boyfriend Nigel:

 This is the finished piece....

 I used Bo Bunny papers from the Gabrielle collection....

 This gorgeous corner piece is a little snippet AVAILABLE HERE it adds a lovely texture and is just so beautiful on my layout...

 The quote I got from the Internet-I just stamped it on a scrap piece from the collection.... You can also see here how I edged the white butterflies paper with my fiskars punch...

 The flower and bling are all Prima and of course my little snippet butterfly again AVAILABLE HERE These butterflies are beautiful and I just LOVE them so much...

 Close up of a butterfly-the detail that Ger can put on these guys is amazing, they come in different colors too or you could always get the white & glimmermist them....

 The frame was a pine scrapbook frame from cardznscrapz.com which I first painted chocolate brown, added a layer of crackle medium and then painted white so the white cracked to reveal the brown-I also lighted sanded all the edges to add some more soft distressing and the varnished it with a matt varnish....

Week 3 Heart Journalling-Gratitude!!

Assignment: Create a spread or a page using the concept of Gratitude, appreciation, and thanks. This could be a spread listing your appreciation for anything/anyone. Use any stamps you want, colors, etc. Not necessary to use any TGF stamps, this is YOUR journal, do what you want cuz you rule that journal!

 This is the 2 page spread...

 I used Tim Holtz mask letters and then I also cut some letters out of paper which I had stamped with the Hero Arts 'Thanks' definition stamp and coloured with Tim Holtz Tea Dye ink....

 I also added my fave stamp at the moment Cuddle Anya who I had stamped on kraft and coloured with promarkers.....

 Close up of one of the letters I cut out myself-I also added faux stitching with white gel pen....
