Halloween decoration :)

Here is a halloween decoration I made using leftovers from my configurations project I made during the summer more details HERE
Here is my configurations and here is what I had leftover-
I had the lid and 3 small boxes left so I used these for my halloween project...here I have painted the lid orange....
Then I used crackle medium and black paint so the orange showed thru....
I just painted the little boxes orange....
For the  acetate lid window I stamped it up with Tim Holtz stamps....
I used Tim Holtz Hobgoblin tissue tape to join the little boxes together.....
And here is the finished piece!
There is a Tim Holtz vial and label and some gravestones (Thanks to Emily!!!)...
More gravestones and piles of skulls and a battery candle that I also covered with tissue tape....
of course some little snippet bats AVAILABLE HERE
The red "blood" is alcohol ink and the little coffin I also got from the lovely Emily :)x

I am entering this into the cardznscrapz halloween competition!

My G45 photo cubes for Laura Denisons challenge!

I recently joined Lauras ning site HERE and she hosted a great challenge to make photo cubes following her instructions-all of which are available on the site, I didn't win but just want to share what I made! There were 2 categories you could enter into the Graphic 45 and non-Graphic 45, I of course had to go for the G45 as I LOVE their new an ABC primer papers-so I made these photo cubes:
I used my sons school photos and some wooden school themed embellies...

Close up of one of the photo sections-I used the 4+1 to show Oisins age at the time of the photo. There is still lots of room for more pics as the years go on!

The next challenge is the Retro Fresh challenge "Animals"HERE and here are my cards....
First up are the girls cuddling their toy animals-papers are prima sweet fairy....

Pay it forward 2011-my gift I gave to Ger

So I am still working away on my pay it forward gifts :) and I still have one space if you would like to join in the fun HERE

Today I am sharing what I made for the lovely Ger...
I altered this mini sewing box I bought in An Siopa Bui by painting it and then using Prima sparking spring papers and flowers to decorate along with other various trims and embellies-a shabby chic look :)
It is an actual working box which is so cute...
I made two micro albums to fit the top compartments and left the bottom one empty for Ger to put in whatever bits and bobs she wants...
The two micro albums-they are only small but can be used for small pics and journalling...

The GBCE

Hey everyone!

So I was missing last week due to the fact that I attended the Great Big Craft Extravaganza in Athlone with my sister Aghna. We had a great time at the GBCE where we took a class hosted by the lovely Eve of the crafty queens!! The class was a mini album class using Graphic 45 Magic of Oz papers-LOVE these papers :)

I am still finishing off the tags etc for the inner pages of my album but here is a photo of the front covers so far....
The kit for the class was amazing and JAM packed full of goodies for our albums, thanks so much again to Eve!

We also had a great time visiting the crafty goodies stands where I got some lovely new inks and gorjuss products at the Siopa Bui stand.... Stamps at the waltzing mouse stand... Papers and embellies at crafty queens and some GORGE Tim Holtz and Prima at the Create with Kate stand where Aghna won their giveaway for the day!!! Create with Kate are just in the process of setting up their website HERE so follow along.....

It was so nice to meet Nicole and Timi of crafting Ireland in person at their stand where I entered their layout competition with these 2 cards
This one is Prima Moulin papers and of course a LITTLE SNIPPET
And this one is made with papers I got from my friend emily-I think they might be a DCWV halloween stack and again a FAB LITTLE SNIPPET BAT

It was such a great day and I cannot WAIT to go again next year,
