I also added a little snippet butterfly from HERE
And my little gingham bow...
And heres my little cuddle Anya colored with promarkers and paperpieced with Basic Greys Kioshi papers....
A side view shows up the frame better...

Heart journalling week 2!
Here are my pages for week two:
Assignment: Create a free-spirit spread (two-pages) using the concept of Sand, Sun, Beach, etc. This could be a tribute page to a past vacation, or some sort of paradise, beach-related.... Use any stamps you want, colors, etc. Not necessary to use any TGF stamps, this is YOUR journal, do what you want cuz you rule that journal!
Tip: Try adding texture to your pages for a feel-y, touchy 3-D look. :)

Assignment: Create a free-spirit spread (two-pages) using the concept of wings. This could be butterflies, airplanes, angels, birds...etc. Use any stamps you want, colors, etc. Not necessary to use any TGF stamps, this is YOUR journal, do what you want cuz you rule that journal!
And here are my pages!
I went with a butterfly theme-first painting my two pages blue and then stamping butterfly images using stamps and paint-which I never tried before....

The little punch out butterflies are from a kit and the gems and letters are papermania....
This was my first time trying anything like this so I was very nervous....

TPBP Dressform challenge/little snippets Design Team project #2!!
Over on the piece by piece blog there is a SUPER July challenge to alter a dressform HERE I decided to give it a go and use both some gorgeous lace from TPBP etsy store and also some of my little snippets!
Here is goes....
The dressform I bought in An Siopa Bui-its a tall paper mache dressform with wire legs-I bought 2 of them (shhhhhhh....) for the challenge I dressed this one up in a vintage dress....
First I just painted the bodice in cream paint...
Then I added lace from TPBP, my little snippets butterflies AVAILABLE HERE, tulle and pearls.....
The skirt is lots of layers of cream tulle, dusty pink pin stripe lace from TPBP Etsy, little snippet butterflies and pearls....
Coming up across the bodice and acting as a strap for my dress is this GORGEOUS ivory leaf vine venice lace also from TPBP etsy store....
Side view....
This is the back which I LOVE!!!!.....
Check out that butterfly-the detail of these are just amazing....
The other colour butterfly...
Now....I want this dress!!!!
