First of all, Happy New Year everyone!
Second of all, this mini had lots of pages so theres lots of photos here!! :) Myself & my friends always do secret santa so this year I got Joanna. She's always saying how she has no photos of our little group together so I said I'd make her a mini for her photos & give her a disc with all the photos I have of our group, so that she can put them into her scrapbook! I also included some acid free adhesive so that she could stick them in & I put them all into the altered box you can see in the final photo below.
This mini was made using graphic 45 on the boardwalk papers-I LOVE these papers-the colours & print are so much fun.
I hope you like it-as always feel free to leave any questions or comments,
Thanks so much everyone for the great support,
Aideen X
Front cover-using Jolees stickers-which go perfectly with the papers!
Binding was done with cotton string-kinda nautical feel to it :) closure-my favourite Tim Holtz clip with a muse token saying "significant" and a little fish charm
First page uses a Jenni Bowlin seaside theme bingo card as a little pocket for some tags which I covered with the papers-using string for decoration
The stick here "E is for escape" is from the little yellow bicycle company-also up on the right here you can see a little graphic 45 envelope!
Back of that page with prima flowers & bling centres
I love this page I had these tiny little foam flip flops-perfect for the theme!
Back of the flip flop page-stamped & again prima flowers
A Maya road burgundy flower which I added some black stickles too & another LYBC sticker
Layered prima flowers-as you can see I did not over embellish the pages because it really is for lots of photos!
Another stamp & a black Maya road flower
More layered primas in matching colours.
For the next photo below, I dont know why but I cannot write under it-anyway I tied string around the page & attached a starfish charm. Then I made two tages & using another bingo card I made a little journalling book too. On the tag that I covered with paper from the collection you can see I also attached a Tim Holtz pin & a seashell charm
The newsprint page which I did not cover up, as I always say I love the way you can read these!
A pocket I made with black cardstock, prima & more of those stickers
Another bingo card with a trifold pullout behind it!
Just some stamps :)
Final page
The book pages actually open out to each side as you go along so it ends up like this!
Back cover
Another alterable box from papermania-I just painted it with picket fence distress crackle paint & kinda sprinkled the sandy coloured embossing powder over it, agaon to match the beach theme!
Thanks for visiting!

suoer clear pictures, and details!
I adore the many surprises, of how it
keeps revealing "hidden treasures" of
the sea! And how it keeps flip-flopping
open! How Perfect, you added the flipflops!
Right on, girl! Moe:-)
This is lovely Aideen, I must get some of these stacks!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, the round page in the album really stands out, I haven't been that brave yet, I only did an acetate page on a few albums and I'm loving the diversity it brings to projects
